Most summer programs are about keeping kids busy. Ours is about giving them ten different worlds to step into — sandcastles one week, a petting zoo the next, a treasure hunt after that. Real teachers, long days, a place your kid already knows their way around.

We're kicking off summer with sunshine, sand play, and a group sandcastle showcase that celebrates teamwork, creativity, and the big outdoors.
[ Week 1 ] June 1-5
This week the kiddos become ocean helpers — rescuing sea animals, cleaning up pretend habitats, and learning how observation and care help protect living things.
[ Week 2 ] June 8-12
The kiddos rotate through engaging, playful water stations designed for movement, cooperation, sensory exploration, and having a summer blast.
[ Week 3 ] June 15-19
Kiddos will follow clues, work in teams, solve simple challenges, and celebrate a week of swashbuckling fun with a treasure hunt finale.
[ Week 4 ] June 22-26
Your kiddo will enjoy a patriotic week of red-white-blue celebration — and a visit from a community helper who keeps Bakersfield safe.
[ Week 5 ] Jun 29-Jul 2
Note: This is a 4-day week. We are closed Fri, Jul 3 to observe Independence Day.
The kids meet gentle farm animals and practice observation, patience, kindness, and care.
[ Week 6 ] Jul 6-10
Our adventurers explore cause and effect through hands-on experiments, observation, prediction, and discovery.
[ Week 7 ] Jul 13-17
Children practice movement, teamwork, encouragement, and confidence — ending the week with a medal celebration.
[ Week 8 ] Jul 20-24
Children step into favorite stories through dress-up, dramatic play, library visits, and shared reading.
[ Week 9 ] Jul 27-31
The kiddos practice the routines, independence, social confidence, and rhythms that help them feel ready for their next step — whether that's kindergarten, TK, or another year here with us.

New summer families who enroll their child for the fall school year receive a fall enrollment credit applied to their first month's tuition. The earlier you decide, the bigger the credit.

A backpack with a change of clothes, water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat is all you need. We provide snacks, supplies, and theme-related materials. If your child is in diapers, please pack a supply.

We provide lunch, along with morning and afternoon snacks. Our menu is available to view by clicking this link.

Yes — children ages 2–5 are welcome regardless of potty training status. We support children at their own developmental pace.

Cancellations made 14+ days before a week begins receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days receive a credit for a future week. Day-of cancellations (illness, family emergency) are handled case-by-case — please reach out.

Each week is sold as a full M–F week. For partial coverage, we recommend our regular Drop-In package to pick the specific weeks you need.

Yes — we're a fully licensed California preschool serving Bakersfield families since 2006. All staff are background-checked and trained in early childhood best practices, with current CPR and First Aid certifications.

We maintain ratios below California's licensed maximums — typically 1:10 for ages 3–5. Summer programming uses the same ratios as our school year.

Please disclose all allergies at registration. We work individually with families on accommodations and maintain allergen-aware snacks. For severe allergies, we ask families to provide emergency action plans.

Yes — we share daily photos and weekly recaps through Brightwheel, our parent communication platform. You'll get a window into your child's day without us interrupting it.

We get it! We offer free pop-in playdates in the week before camp begins so new families can explore the space with their child and meet teachers. Email us to schedule.
